Kitchen volunteering

We love all of the amazing volunteers who make Hillel come to life and help cook all of the delicious meals we provide for free. We can’t do it with you.

Here’s your chance to learn cooking with a professional chef. If you’re a high school student or need volunteer hours, we can sign off on that for you.

Chuck and Nanci Cooper

Chuck and nanci cooper's story

When Chuck and Nanci met at Hillel’s Passover seder in the 70s, they had no idea that chance encounter would turn into a beautiful life spent together.

Chuck was studying in the College of Biological Sciences, and Nanci was an English major. They were married their junior year.

Please read this article below about Chuck and Nanci and their incredible gift of $500,000 to our Hillel in honor of the 50th wedding anniversary.
